New Features and Enhancements
Several new features and enhancements have been released since we began the roll out in August 2008. See what features are now available.
Additional new features and enhancements will continue to be released over the course of the next several weeks. (See links below for details)
Releases for the week of...
October 5, 2009:
- New eNewsletter functionality
- Test Newsletter – This allows you to review a copy of your newsletter before sending it to your intended target audience. The tool will send a test copy of your newsletter to all users who have Newsletter admin privileges
- Email Scheduler - With this new feature you will be given the option of sending your newsletter right away OR you can schedule the newsletter to be sent on a future date.
Note: To schedule a newsletter to be sent on a future date, please be sure to enter the specified date when creating your newsletter. Newsletters with no dates entered will be sent as soon as you click “send”. Newsletters with a future date will be entered to the queue when “send” is clicked.
August 17, 2009:
- New eNewsletter functionality
- Monthly quotas have been increased to eight (8) per month.
- Mail merge Capability - Customize each campaign with user-specific information via “Smart Fields”.
- Magnet Support Forum
- Users now have the ability to specify which users will receive an email notification of Support Forum update.
- Email notifications now include a direct link to the updated post and include a preview of the latest update.
January 26, 2009:
- New Store Search Functionality and "Time Shift" - Watch the video tutorial for details.
- Increased Session Time with a warning message before automatic logged out (while in article edit mode)
- Additional Video Tutorials Added
- Enhanced RSVP reports
- Additional fields have been added to the RSVP on-screen display and data download: Amount Paid, Membership Level/Status, Degree/Year.
January 5, 2009:
- File Upload - UPDATE
- An enhancement to the upload tool has been released. Please review the NEW video tutorial for an explanation on using the File Upload feature. Note: If you watched the older version of the tutorial you may need to clear your browser's cache to access the updated video.
December 1, 2008:
- Login Prompt
- All users are now required to login before adding items to a shopping cart or attempting to purchase a Club membership. This login 'roadblock' will remind users that they need to sign-in before attempting to process an e-commerce transaction. The Login Prompt will greatly reduce the chance of having a user create a duplicate account while attempting to purchase tickets/memberships.
- File Upload
- Word, Excel, PDF, and JPEG files can now be made available to your users on your site. Please review the video tutorial for an explanation on using the File Upload feature.
